Clean and dry the affected area. Remove patch from film and apply directly to skin. Apply to targeted areas like shoulders, knees, back, or joints for flexible, on-the-go support. Wear for up to 8 hours. Do not reuse.

Curcumin has been associated with heightened adverse reactions when used concurrently with blood thinners (anticoagulants). Consumers taking warfarin, aspirin or similar medications are warned against using this product, or advised to consult a physician before use.
Boswellia may interact with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as ibuprofen and naproxen. Consumers taking NSAIDs are warned against using this product concurrently, or advised to consult a physician before use.

WHY CURCUMIN & BOSWELLIA

Recovery Tape's botanical formula centers on two well-studied plant compounds, chosen for how they work together, not just individually.

Curcumin

The principal active compound in turmeric, traditionally used to support the body's natural comfort response. It's one of the most widely researched botanical compounds available, valued for centuries in traditional wellness practices.

Boswellia

A tree resin extract with a long history of traditional use for supporting joint comfort and ease of movement. Often paired with curcumin, since the two compounds are thought to work through complementary pathways in the body.

Unlike menthol-based topicals, which create a temporary cooling or warming sensation on the skin's surface, curcumin and boswellia are formulated to be absorbed into the area where the patch is applied, working with your body rather than masking sensation.

Finally, Relief Without the Menthol Burn

I deal with tight muscles, chronic back pain, and migraines, so I've tried a lot of topical products over the years. Most of them lean on menthol, and honestly I hate that feeling, it's like you've applied a chemical straight through your skin. This one is different.

I applied it to my occipital area (base of the skull, where a lot of my tension and migraine pain starts) and wore it all day. It stayed comfortable the entire time and didn't budge, even with normal daily movement. The adhesive is genuinely strong, which is great for staying power, but it does mean you have to be careful during application so it doesn't fold and stick to itself.

What I appreciate most is the botanical formula. No menthol, no synthetic cooling gimmick, just the curcumin and boswellia doing their thing. If you're someone who's sensitive to those medicated, "chemical" feeling products, this is a completely different experience.

Five stars. Easy application (once you're careful with the adhesive), comfortable all-day wear, and finally a topical that doesn't feel like it's off-gassing menthol at me.
